Missouri Rotary Youth Leadership Academy (RYLA) 2023

In 2023, the Washington Rotary Club was happy to have members of the community attend MO-RYLA. Kaylin Monnig and Brennan Pfeiffer, both from Washington, MO, attended the camp in late June of 2023. It was hosted at the University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg, MO. The following are a few images from their time at the camp and a small part of Kaylin’s speech she had made at the Rotary meeting.

“RYLA was absolutely amazing, and I am so grateful that I was chosen to go. I hope to take what I learned about service and being a leader into my school and further out into the community… (I) learned so much more about what the Rotary Club does and how much you all do to help not only our community but around the world (like your mission to cure polio)! Again, thank you very much. I had a great time, and I hope to express my gratitude to you in my service now and in the future.”
