Casey Patke, the Executive Director of Oak Pointe, a senior living community, spoke with Washington Rotary this afternoon, September 24, 2020. Oak Pointe serves older adults and their families. They believe that older adults deserve the opportunity to live healthy, happy, purposeful lives that include connection to family, friends and community; easy access to supportive services; and an environment that supports personal independence and growth. In the assisted living side, residents can live on their own terms in their own private space with freedom from cooking, cleaning and home maintenance. Oak Pointe memory care services are designed to address the specific needs of individuals with memory loss. Everything from the building design and outdoor spaces to the social activities and dining experiences are intended to enhance the lives of elders and their families. We thank Casey for visiting with us today and for providing the Washington community with professional care for our older loved ones.
